Kristen Simmons Bio

Kristen Simmons is a board member, advisor and former C-suite executive with 30+ years driving growth for public and private companies. Most recently, Kristen served as COO and Chief Growth Officer at PeopleConnect, leading product, ecommerce, business intelligence, marketing and customer care teams through post-M&A integration and growth. 

Prior to PeopleConnect, Kristen worked at Experian’s growing healthcare business as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer, leading innovation, strategy, M&A, marketing and customer support. Immediately prior, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for the Consumer business, spearheading brand and business model changes that fueled the division’s decisive turnaround. 

Before Experian, Kristen was a career public company CMO involved with all aspects of the customer experience at companies like Mazda, Ford, Gateway and Young & Rubicam. She worked as co-owner, advisor and frequent public speaker at Lightswitch, a pioneering customer experience consultancy. 

Kristen is a board member for the Forum for Corporate Directors and serves on advisory boards for two privately held companies. She is involved as a volunteer in her local Laguna Beach community and previously chaired the advisory board for OC Focus, a strategic collaboration that delivered policy recommendations for economic and population growth to Orange County’s civic leaders and top CEOs.
