Kevin Rubin Bio

Kevin Rubin is chief financial officer (CFO) of Alteryx, responsible for all financial management activities including finance and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and business applications. Kevin brings 20 years of experience in the industry, leading both public and private technology companies through rapid growth and expansion.

Before joining Alteryx, Kevin was chief financial officer of MSC Software, a private equity-backed software company. Kevin was responsible for managing MSC through significant transition including aligning the financial and business operations to support MSC’s growth through systems, processes, and human capital. Kevin also led strategic activities including debt and recapitalizations transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kevin previously served as chief financial officer for Pictage, a venture-backed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider; DataDirect Networks, a data storage equipment provider; and MRV Communications, a publicly traded telecommunications equipment provider. Kevin started his career at Arthur Andersen as a member of its Technology Practice working with a broad range of small, privately held companies to large, publicly traded organizations.

Kevin is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California and holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
