FCD Committees

Branding & Communications

• Implements the FCD Branding Strategy
• Serves as the focal point to promote all FCD programs and events
• Coordinates and implements FCD’s dealings with the media
• Oversees FCD’s communications including its website, ads, etc.

Finance & Oversight

• Oversees the financial affairs (including accounting, tax, and an annual budget) of FCD
• Reviews and approves the performance and compensation of the Executive Director and all other paid staff of FCD
• Provides guidance on all financial policies and procedures of FCD, including membership

Governance

• Prepares and submits amendments to FCD Charter Documents of FCD for consideration and approval of the Board
• In conjunction with the Chairman, monitors succession planning for the FCD Chair, Board Committee Chairs, Committee membership, and other FCD Directors
• Performs the function of the Nominating Committee of the Board to present the annual nomination of the Board, Committee Chairs, the FCD Chairperson, and other officers

Membership

• Recruits new corporate members as well as individual members primarily consisting of directors and executive officers
• Develops ways to engage these members into our tiers of programs and peer-to-peer exchanges

• Responsible for the following FCD events:
  
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings
  • Executive briefings
  • Director/Executive Officer only events
  • Governance Outlook
  • Directors’ Institute
  • In-Boardroom Education
  • FCD-University joint programs
